PJSF is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 83-3851521). Consult your accountant about deductibility in your country.
Where does my donation go?
Each campaign shows its goal and the amount raised. We publish impact reports regularly.
Can I donate monthly?
Yes. On the donation page choose "Monthly donation".
How does the organization identify individuals or communities to work with?
In Guinea-Bissau, for example, the organization works with a local Catholic church to identify the individuals and communities most in need.
What services are offered to those communities?
At this moment, the goals are to improve educational and healthcare conditions for women and children.
What is the organization’s long-term strategy?
To implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and, by 2030, lift most people in need in these communities out of poverty.
Does the organization make decisions collaboratively?
Yes. Most decisions are based on consensus and collaboration, and almost always on dialogue with the local people of these communities before deciding.
